Who We Are
Melissa Firth | Founder and Product Consultant
Melissa is a product leader with nearly 25 years’ international and human-centred digital product development experience and a comfort in the intersections between product, design and technology.
Over her career she’s worked with cross-functional teams to conceive and deliver more than 30 digital products and platforms across finance, media, government, arts and culture, education, health, energy, transport, telco, B2C, B2B and SaaS. She’s also held senior roles as Chief Digital Officer at Te Papa (recognised in the 2018 CIO Top 100) and Head Digital Business at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
She founded Horizon 3 Consulting to help organisations build the right thing and build it right. With a background in UX, communication and product management, she does this by coaching product teams and leaders, strategic storytelling for alignment around growth objectives, and helping companies with operating models, processes and governance for next-horizon digital products and services that deliver impact.
